Caroline Mills has led Allegra Consulting for more than 15 years, transforming the business into one of Australia's leading boutique transformation consultancies. Since acquiring the business in 2013, she has expanded Allegra's capability, services and reputation, partnering with organisations across Australia and internationally to help leaders navigate complex business change, strengthen organisational capability and deliver transformation that creates lasting value.

With more than 30 years of leadership, consulting and transformation experience, Caroline combines executive leadership experience in financial services with more than 15 years leading a successful consulting practice. Having both led major business functions herself and advised executive teams across a wide range of industries, she understands the realities of organisational leadership and the challenges that accompany significant transformation.

Caroline works alongside Boards, CEOs and executive leadership teams to shape transformation strategies, strengthen organisational capability and develop the leadership required to successfully deliver strategic priorities. Her expertise extends well beyond traditional change management, encompassing enterprise transformation, organisational strategy, operating model design, cultural change, leadership development, governance, organisational effectiveness and executive coaching.

Known for making complex transformation practical, Caroline helps organisations bridge the gap between strategy and execution, ensuring change delivers measurable business outcomes rather than becoming another initiative that struggles to gain traction. Clients value her ability to quickly understand complex environments, build trusted executive relationships and bring clarity to difficult challenges. Her authentic leadership style, commercial thinking and exceptional facilitation skills enable her to align diverse stakeholders, navigate competing priorities and create practical pathways that deliver sustainable results.

A recognised thought leader in organisational transformation, Caroline is passionate about advancing both the profession and the capability of leaders. She is the co-creator of the ChangeFit® methodology and leadership programs, facilitates executive forums and industry communities, regularly presents at conferences and client events, and is currently undertaking a PhD researching the future capabilities required of change practitioners in an increasingly complex and AI-enabled world.

Alongside leading Allegra, Caroline serves as Chair of SisterWorks, reflecting her commitment to purpose-driven leadership and creating positive social impact.
