Sharon’s strong risk, compliance and operations background, combined with a knack for resolving complicated business problems, means she is a valuable member of any transformation team. Her work with organisations has been primarily in developing and implementing solutions to support operational, risk and compliance frameworks.
With the benefit of 30 years managing business change and transformation in the national and international financial services industries, Sharon understands that risk is an important component of business operations that needs to be well managed and carefully mitigated to ensure business success.
Sharon will work with your business, supporting transformation programs and project teams right from the identification of risks through to the introduction of risk governance and reporting.
Sharon has an ability to identify when a seemingly small problem might have greater implications and is clearly a problem worth addressing. Sharon will get things working properly. She possesses the ability to cut through complexity, right to the heart of an issue. From this point, Sharon can create a strategy and a plan, and make order out of a chaotic problem.
Sharon knows that you can only implement change if your stakeholders are engaged. Sharon will make sure that stakeholders understand the journey from start to finish. She will also make sure that any solution that is developed is sustainable and that once she finishes an engagement, her clients can easily keep the solution going.
As well as being a member of the Risk Management Institute of Australia and a Certified Risk Technician, Sharon is Six Sigma trained and holds a Trustee Certificate in Superannuation.
