Change Management tutorial: "The role of enabler"

Posted 08 July 2011
by Allegra Consulting

The fifth tutorial in the current “Roles in Change Management” series from Prosci and the Change Management Learning Center focuses on working through others. Change management practitioners are both methodology appliers and enablers when supporting a project or initiative. In the role of enabler, the change management practitioner is like the director of a play – doing all of the “behind the scenes” work while actors are out in front of the audience. What can change management professionals do to support the other roles in change management?

Find tips for working through:

  • Executives and senior leaders
  • Middle managers and supervisors
  • Project teams
  • Project support functions
