Learning and networking opportunities

Change Management is constantly growing as a discipline in both size and reputation. Allegra Consulting is committed to providing its clients and candidates with up-to-date information on events that support professional development and networking – including three complimentary seminars we host throughout the year in Melbourne.

 

The last event was held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 and included an interactive discussion on the roles of change management and project management in delivering successful business transformation.

From my point of view, this was a fantastic event having the panellists describe their roles and the differences  between Change Management.  It put my mind at ease knowing that Change is different in every type of role seeing how different the three speakers were.

I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you and your team for a very stimulating and affirming seminar last night.

After changing career from Business Management in the UK into Project Management here in Australia I was starting to wonder if I had made the right decision given my interest in Change Management.  I was affirmed to hear the experiences and wisdom of the speakers.  I have since armed myself with a copy of the ADKAR book and plan on overlaying my Prince2 knowledge over this framework as Louise has done.

I did not get a chance to say hello in person last night, but that said a positive of this is that I got to meet lots of other interesting people.
